I open the pages All ruffled and torn The chapters are confusing All blackened and worn The story tells of heartache Of suffering and of pain But to re-read my past Will not have been in vain The past gives me courage To pick up the pen To open the pages And to start over again The past is already written But the future lay untold The beginning followed structure But of the future, I have hold. The rain pours down upon my face Through my tangled hair The thought of going on Is more then I can bare The clouds are rolling over The sun avoids my gaze The walls are closing in There's no exit from this maze Please help me now I beg you While I write this final plea I'm hoping that you read this And try to rescue me But no one hears me screaming They all let me fade away There is no starting over Its all going to end today So please when I'm gone At least shed a single tear Maybe the sound of my blood spill Will be something you can hear

Once more I must write my desperate plea As my heart is harshly ripped apart I struggle to breathe and tears blur my sight What have I done? He still owns my heart My memories are dripping away through the tears I cry With each salty drop, his face, his voice, slowly are dissolved I don't know what to do, and I doubt my decision My heart is screaming for him, but my mind says it cant be resolved Even now, I cant finish this poem, the pain is taking over It ends with no rhyme, and follows no structure. It seems rather pointless? Just like my new world. What have I done?

SEMI FINALIST

hey guys. I doubt any one is going to read this, but guess what? :D I entered a world wide poetry contest online and today I got a letter saying my poem was one of the few selected and I'm a semi finalist. not only do I go into the next round with a chance to win all these cash and pirzes...but my poem is also getting published.
